The Summer Work and Learning Program has been serving students across our school districts for 11+ years. Providing PAID experiences to youth ages 14-21 with one or more barriers to employment, this program fosters employability skills by offering structured work placements in combination with work-readiness curriculum. This year we are proud to announce we have expanded the number of available spots since Attleboro is now recognized as a YouthWorks designated city!
We are also excited to offer both in-person and virtual formats for those who are interested. Participants will be employed as youth workers from June 28th-August 6th. Working on various community projects, members of this program will be compensated for the time they spend working AND LEARNING TOO!
If you reside in our service area (Attleboro, Mansfield, North Attleboro, Norton, or Seekonk) and would like more information or would like to apply, please see the file below and contact the correct Career Specialist from your school district.
Applications are sent via email or can be completed in school with a Career Specialist. Applications are due no later than June 1st, 2021.
