Our Health Career Pathways Program addresses the growing need for Certified Nursing Assistants in our communities. Since the program has begun, it has trained 60 youths from the Attleboro, North Attleboro, Norton and Foxboro areas. The program includes academic training and clinical experience at Life Care of Attleboro as well as career exploration and job shadowing opportunities at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. At the completion of the program, the students are qualified to take the State Licensing Exam for Certified Nursing Assistants. To date, all of our students have successfully completed the program. Some graduates have chosen to pursue nursing degrees. Many have gained employment as nursing assistants in the summer and throughout the school year.

This program has been made possible by grants received from Putnam Investments, the Attleboro Rotary Club and the Re/Max Real Estate Center of Foxboro. Past supporters of the program include Bristol County Charitable Foundation and Verizon.
