The Attleboro School to Work Local Partnership was created in 1995 as a result of the National School to Work Opportunities Act. In 2000, the Partnership incorporated to become the Attleboro Area School-To-Career Partnership, Inc.

Currently more than 500 "Employer Partners" have worked with us to provide 1,500 internships and full-time positions. Working together, we have developed tools and training for careers and internships at local companies that help students learn the life skills necessary to be successful in the workplace.

Work and Learning to Success

Thank you to the Bristol Workforce Investment Board and all our business and school partners for helping us make this program possible!

We kick off this program with a summer component that combines supervised work experiences and tutoring.  Students not needing tutoring participate in a porfolio class where they build their resume, develop interview skills, budget planning, and career expolartion.

Real world experiences

Students working at the Attleboro High School worked on five major projects this summer; providing food for the city’s food pantries, reconstructing the second greenhouse at the high school, rebuilding the benches outside of city hall, re-landscaping the entrance to the Career and Technical Education wing of Attleboro High School, and building flower boxes to be placed around Pine street on the East side of Attleboro.
